He has provided poetry manuscript consultations to several poets, who went on to publish critically acclaimed work, including David Clink, Rocco De Giacomo and Nashira Dernesh.
SERVICES
I offer consultations on poetry manuscripts in virtually any poetic approach and aesthetic. I pride myself on being able to see what the author is intending to do (instead of trying to impose my own aesthetic preferences onto the poem) and to help you accomplish that intended effect while staying true to your original vision and voice. For each poem of your manuscript, I will provide suggestions for changes: revisions, cuts and possibilities. Also, I will provide you with a page-length overall evaluation of your manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses. If you are in Toronto, we can also arrange a face-to-face meeting to discuss my feedback. I am able to offer a sliding scale based on financial circumstance.
